Cristiano Antonelli (1951) holds the chair of Political Economy of the University of Torino. He is Fellow of the Collegio Carlo Alberto where he guides the BRICK (Bureau of Research on Innovation, Complexity and Knowledge).

He is the Managing Editor of Economics of Innovation and New Technology (since volume 5 1997-1998) and a member of the Editorial Boards of Eurasian Business Review: A Journal in Industrial Organization, Innovation and Management Science, Telecommunications Policy, Economia: Teoria y Practica.

He has been a visiting professor in the Universities of Paris Sud, Buenos Aires, Paris XIII, Lyon Lumiere, Nice, Paris-Dauphine, Aix-en-Provence, Manchester, Rio de Janeiro, Telecom Ecole de Management. He was vice-president of the International Schumpeter Society in the years 2000-2004. He has been a Rockefeller Fellow at the Sloan School of the MIT in the years 1983-1985 and served as a junior economist the Directorate for Science Technology and Industry of the OECD in the years 1978 and 1979.
